The Rumblefish event always bring me back to the Algarve every year, and most namely Praia do Amado as it’s been the longest running VQS in Europe with this being 11th time it has been run and it’s also the third stop for the VQS European tour 2010/2011.
The waves weren’t the best as we arrived at the beach but the peak in the middle of the beach is always there and the left is the one, year after year and with the tide coming in towards the end of the afternoon meant that the business side of the contest was going to be decided in the best conditions, bring on the ripping. I would also like to add that it is a pleasure when there are more groms signing up than the open division.
